PokéSurvivor Updates

Arceus begins Judgment at minute 30 under the 13 October 2026 rules, turning the endgame into a survival encounter. Ordinary rifts close from minute 28, and the previous minute-60 overtime phase is removed. From 7–13 October, PokéSurvivor gains co-op, mobile controls, Bonds, upgrades and new encounters. Check when a mechanic changed before using an older strategy: some rules were replaced the very next day.

Browser updates: 7–13 October 2026 · Judgment begins at minute 30.

What the 13 October update changes for your next run

13 October rules

At minute 30, Arceus takes the run into the Ruins of Judgment. Arceus is invincible, so the goal becomes surviving its pursuit and attacks while other legendaries arrive. Prepare for that transition before minute 30 rather than planning around the old hour-long overtime phase.

Rifts stop opening from minute 28. The all-time leaderboard was restarted because older records were no longer reachable under the new endgame; daily, weekly and monthly leaderboards were left unchanged. The new Judgment achievements reward reaching the encounter, surviving one minute and defeating three of its accompanying legendaries in one run.

The Judgment of Arceus

The endgame shifts from extended ordinary survival to an invincible pursuit encounter. Prepare to survive Arceus at minute 30 instead of waiting for overtime at minute 60.

Added

  • At minute 30, Arceus brings the player to the Ruins of Judgment. It cannot be defeated, pursues increasingly quickly and attacks with light pillars, beams and shockwaves. Contact costs nearly half the player's HP. Another legendary arrives every five seconds, with twice the HP and damage of the previous arrival.
  • Three achievements join the list: The Judgment for reaching minute 30, Before the Creator for surviving one minute against Arceus, and Divine challenge for defeating three legendaries during that encounter in one run.
  • The Arceus encounter receives its own music.
  • Leaderboard rows gain a flag button for reporting suspicious records.

Changed

  • The all-time leaderboard restarts because the new endgame makes earlier survival records unreachable. Daily, weekly and monthly boards keep their existing records.
  • The minute-60 overtime system is removed.
  • Rifts stop opening once the run reaches minute 28, preventing the Judgment transition from starting while players are inside a rift.
  • The server verifies played runs for the leaderboard, and players keep legitimately earned rewards.

Overtime and less random rifts

A large balance and reliability patch revises rifts, upgrades, move behavior, mobile controls and co-op pauses. Its overtime addition was removed the following day.

Added

  • Overtime begins after minute 60, progressively increasing wild Pokémon HP and damage. This escalation was intended to end previously unending upgraded runs at roughly an hour and a half; it was removed on 13 October.
  • The game refreshes to a new version within five seconds in the menu, or after an active run ends, while preserving progress.
  • The menu gains a What's new button for the game's update history.
  • Number styling is revised to distinguish 2, 5 and 8 more clearly.
  • The main menu allows choosing a partner's ordinary or shiny form directly beneath the partner.
  • Three per-Pokémon upgrades arrive: Critical Hit adds three percentage points of critical chance per level with ×1.5 critical damage; Card reroll adds one reroll per level per run; Ban excludes selected moves from level-up offers.
  • Per-Pokémon move shortcuts let players assign preferred moves to consistent slots in the Upgrades screen.

Changed

  • Rock Slide's damage falls from 26 to 21, reducing its unusually high clear rate relative to other moves.
  • Boss defeats stop awarding level-up card rerolls. Each run instead starts with one free reroll, and upgrades provide extras.
  • Rift legendaries award one ×10 ticket with a 50% chance instead of the earlier guaranteed two-ticket reward.
  • A co-op room reports failed direct network connections and keeps retrying rather than routing play through a slow server.
  • After the server migration, you may need to sign in again with the same account or Google login. Your saves and collected Pokémon are preserved.
  • Gacha no longer returns an already-owned shiny as a duplicate: the result is replaced by a missing shiny of the same rarity.
  • Each failed eligible rift roll raises the next chance, reaching a guaranteed opening roll after five checks over 2.5 minutes. Bosses and active portals or arenas can delay checks; from 13 October, new rifts also stop at minute 28.
  • Rifts favor legendaries the player has not yet beaten, giving them four times the selection weight.
  • Healing grows with attack strength, subject to diminishing returns and a ×2.5 cap.
  • Melee attacks gain 25% reach and 20% damage; while one is active, incoming damage is reduced by 25%.
  • Choosing a held item in co-op now pauses the run for the whole room.
  • Choosing a move fusion in co-op also pauses the run for everyone.
  • If the host changes tabs or stalls, co-op pauses until the host returns.
  • Runs shorter than one minute no longer qualify for leaderboard submission.

Fixed

  • Leaderboard cleanup removes impossible records and records affected by the minute-84 frozen-game timer bug. An affected player's next valid run can count again.
  • iPhone move-icon taps are repaired for cases where another finger holds the joystick, and controls are moved above the home bar.
  • Runs beyond 84 minutes no longer suffer the black screens, freezing and repeated level-ups caused by the timer bug.
  • A crashed run is ended and saved automatically, including time, defeated counts and eligible records, instead of losing the run.
  • Very long valid runs are no longer incorrectly rejected as cheating.
  • Co-op fixes the advantage caused by enemies stopping when the host switched tabs.
  • Holding the iPhone joystick no longer opens text-selection controls.
  • The iPhone fullscreen button explains the Share → Add to Home Screen route when direct fullscreen is unavailable.

Bonds

Bonds change how attacks can share a slot, while the release also improves card control and save reliability.

Added

  • Defeating a legendary allows a Bond fusion with up to four moves firing together from one slot.
  • Level-up offers gain a card reroll button.

Changed

  • Rifts appear more frequently.
  • Psychic attacks and healing moves are weakened.
  • Level-up stat cards for speed, cooldown, experience, magnet, armor and power receive limits on how many times they can be chosen.
  • Mobile partner details move alongside the selection, login becomes quicker and the ×10 gacha screen can be closed.

Fixed

  • A black screen in runs beyond one hour is addressed by fixing image-memory exhaustion.
  • Tickets are saved when collected, preventing loss if the tab closes before the run ends.
  • Buying an upgrade immediately after a save no longer charges for an upgrade that fails to apply.
  • A mid-run error no longer leaves the game frozen indefinitely.

· Historical update

More challenge

Combat gains more attack behaviors and boss patterns, alongside a tougher enemy balance and additional mid-run events.

Added

  • Bosses and legendaries receive four telegraphed attacks and become enraged at half HP.
  • Twelve moves and eight attack behaviors are added: boomerang, chain, mines, meteors, turret, dash, trail and spray.
  • New events include single-type hordes, golden hour and lost Pokémon, plus coin-carrying Meowth and Gholdengo that flee the player.
  • Large Pokémon receive statues.

Changed

  • Enemy populations are reduced while individual enemies become tougher.
  • Level progression slows and tickets become rarer. Ordinary bosses drop a ×10 ticket with a one-in-three chance; rift legendary ticket rewards change separately on 12 October.
  • Loading performance is improved.

Fixed

  • Straggling enemies are removed only off-screen instead of disappearing visibly in front of the player.
  • Menus and other screens no longer overlap the top bar.

· Historical update

Mobile and English

The browser game expands to touch controls and installable mobile play, with English and Spanish support.

Added

  • Phones and tablets gain a touch joystick, and the game can be installed as an app.
  • English and Spanish game interfaces become available.
  • A settings screen adds automatic graphics-quality selection.

Changed

  • Fewer enemies are shown simultaneously, with stronger individual enemies.
  • Giga Drain is replaced by Grass Knot, removing that move's healing behavior.

· Historical update

Missions, rifts and co-op

This patch establishes many of the progression and encounter systems used in later versions.

Added

  • Daily and weekly missions, achievement medals and titles, and public profiles are introduced.
  • Held items and move evolutions arrive alongside enemies that heal, shield, summon or explode.
  • Rifts lead to 18 legendary arenas, one for each type; weather can alter the fight.
  • Co-op, a friends list and leaderboards are added.
  • Per-Pokémon upgrades, a ticket-based slot-machine gacha and a type chart join the game.

Changed

  • The camera view widens, and enemies navigate around obstacles.

Use the patch date when comparing advice

Plan late-run survival around the rules for that update. Minute-60 overtime belongs to 12 October; from 13 October, Arceus starts Judgment at minute 30. For ticket farming, distinguish ordinary bosses from rift legendaries: their drop chances change separately.

The reroll button arrived with Bonds on 11 October, while the following day's patch replaced boss-earned rerolls with one free reroll plus purchased extras. Budget around one free reroll per run plus the extra rerolls purchased for your partner, rather than expecting bosses to replenish them.
